Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine
With 5000 years of history, it is the most common form of medical practice in the eastern culture. Combining the meridian system of our body and the needle technique, acupuncture can help stimulate organs to restore balance. Acupuncture is most effective for stress and pain management, hormonal imbalance, digestive disturbance, infertility, and smoke cessation.

Our doctors at Revive are trained and certified in acupuncture to provide you a relaxing experience. During acupuncture treatment, F.I.R. (Far Infrared Ray) therapy is also applied to the treatment areas. The benefit of F.I.R therapy is to improve circulation of blood and lymph, which also help eliminate toxins from our body.

Through intramuscular or intravenous pathways, a concentrated mix of vitamins and minerals are delivered quickly to our body. IV therapy increases potency and efficacy of vital elements while preventing absorption lost from ingestion of pill form. It also allows for the need to megadosing in certain conditions such as cancer.

IV bags are customized according to the specific individual needs and are most often recommended in conditions involving migraine headaches, chronic fatigue, immune deficiency, malabsorption, acute/chronic viral or bacterial infection, allergy, fatigue, and nausea in pregnancy, athletic endurance and replenishment, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.

Bowen Therapy
The Bowen technique is a gentle deeply relaxing form of bodywork that addresses both the musculoskeletal and internal organ systems. The goal of this treatment is to reset the autonomic nervous system that holds a pattern of pain or disease. Once proper communication between the nervous system and musculoskeletal or internal organ systems has been restored, the body will return to a balanced and normal functioning state.

Frequently applied conditions:

  • Back pain
  • Migraines
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Sciatica
  • TMJ syndromes
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Fibromyalgia and chronic pain
  • Respiratory problems, including asthma and bronchitis

During the treatment, the patient lies on a massage bed while a licensed therapist applies specific sequences of rolling moves over the muscles and tendons. There are important pauses between each series of moves when the therapist leaves the room to allow the body to absorb the treatment it has received. Each Bowen session generally lasts an hour and are scheduled a week apart. It can take up to five days for the effects of a treatment to be fully integrated. Most people will notice significant improvement within 3 to 5 sessions.
