Dr. Steven Hsu
Dr. Steven Hsu received his Bachelor’s degree in Animal biology from the University of British Columbia and went on to complete his medical training at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Because of his background in human physiology, Dr. Hsu’s approach brings the strengths of diagnostic and holistic medicine together. He practices evidence-based medicine and plans for the most efficient treatment protocol for individual patient. He believes in treating the big picture rather than focusing on individual symptoms.
Dr. Hsu specializes in diagnostics and treatments of Atopic dermatitis in children and adults. He has special interests in gastrointestinal health, cancer and detoxification. Dr. Hsu is also certified in acupuncture, and IV therapy which he frequently utilizes as part of oncology management.
Dr. Hsu is a member of the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and British Columbia Naturopathic Association.
Dr. Sooin Lee
Dr. Sooin Lee is a licensed and board certified Naturopathic Doctor who is an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and British Columbia of Naturopathic Association.
Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree in Chemistry and also completed pre-med studies at University of Virginia. After additional four years of postgraduate study, Dr. Sooin Lee graduated from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminter, British Columbia. She is also certified in Acupunture and is a Bowen Therapy practitioner.
Dr. Lee has developed a general family practice and is committed to helping all individuals achieve their optimal state of health. Dr. Lee focuses her practice on women’s health, including fertility, pregnancy, PMS and menopause and has a strong interest in the health of infants and children. She follows an integrative approach combining the latest in medical science using Nutrition, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Supplementation, Botanical Medicine and lifestyle counseling as per the needs of each individual she works with.
Sharon Gerhart BScN
Sharon received her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (with distinction) at Vancouver Island University. She is licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of British Columbia. Sharon’s nursing background includes orthopedics, geriatric rehabilitation, surgical day care and intravenous therapy. Sharon continues to work as a foot care nurse in the community.
Sharon is registered with the Upledger Institute as a CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner. CranioSacral Therapy releases tension allowing the entire body to relax and self-correct. Using a gentle touch — starting with about the weight of a nickel – Sharon evaluates your internal environment. Then she uses distinctive light-touch techniques to release any restrictions she finds. Sharon enjoys being able to spend quality time assisting her clients during CranioSacral Therapy sessions.
